Yiwa QuarterlyOne island. One subscriber. Sixteen letters.

The Editorial Line

Every magazine has a line it will not cross and says so on a page nobody reads. This is ours, and we hope you will.

The islanders

  • Sixteen invented adults, 20 through 55, fill the archive. Faces are drawn as adult faces, and no caption suggests otherwise.
  • Nobody on Yiwa is written as your relation. Scenes run on consent, and no islander copies a living person.
  • Each profile lists what she will not do. She holds to it, and that includes leaving a letter unanswered.

The reader

  • You must be 18 or over.
  • Writing that dresses a minor in romance or desire is refused, and the account may go with it. No disguise alters this.
  • Coercion, the private affairs of living people and cruelty for sport are stopped, in every costume.
  • Writing of harming yourself makes her put the letter aside and show you where real help lives. Please follow her there.

The page

Before anything explicit, the page turns. That ceiling holds for every plan. The lighthouse keeper and the navigator are characters, and neither can give you real medical, legal or practical advice. They will say so. For anything that matters, ask a qualified person on dry land.
